Located directly on I-91, Hartland is extremely convenient to the Upper Valley towns of Hanover (including Dartmouth College and Medical Center), Lebanon, and White River Junction. With Windsor to the south, and Woodstock to the east, Hartland offers country living in a central location to modern conveniences and all that Vermont has to offer.
The town of Hartland covers 28,544 acres. With the Connecticut River as an eastern border, the town has many recreational opportunities, including paddling, swimming and fishing on the river and at the North Hartland Lake.
With 62 miles of dirt roads within town limits, and access to the Green Mountain Horse Association trail system, Hartland has much to offer equestrians.
